In Conversation With … Gabor Posta, who talks to Nona about being diagnosed with ET when he was aged 17, and then with PV about 5 years later and how this had an impact on him as he was so young, particularly with regards to his career choice. Gabor tells Nona that he takes Aspirin and has venesections and finds that exercise helps with the occasional fatigue he experiences. They then talk about the Young Patient Network for people with MPNs aged 40 and under, Gabor says that the information online for younger people has improved in recent years, and the network gives an opportunity to put together information and resources specifically for young people, and to speak to other likeminded people going through a similar situation. He finishes by talking about his hopes for future research.

The Young Patient Network Facebook group is for people with an MPN, aged 40 and under, providing a digital space where young people can meet and connect, share any worries or concerns, and chat with each other about what it’s like to live with a MPN.
