In 2013 Michelle was diagnosed with a liver disease caused by an underlying myeloproliferative neoplasm, polycythaemia vera (PV Michelle ran the Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon and London BUPA 10k on behalf of MPN Voice, in the hope of raising lots of pennies for wonderful trials … and maybe one day, a cure.
